One of Australia’s fastest growing energy services companies, NuGreen Solutions, is creating jobs in the Commercial Solar sector regardless of indecision on Renewable Energy Target (RET).
NuGreen Solutions has recently made two new staffing appointments, Sean Sweetser and Yuri Golod, who will support NuGreen’s ongoing expansion, providing energy efficiency and commercial solar services for clients.
NuGreen Director, Geoff Gourley said “we are excited to have secured Sean and Yuri, their support and expertise will enable us to service even more clients that are making a shift to an energy efficient future. With uncertainty around the RET and various government grants and funding being cut, we remain confident the shift to a more energy efficient future is here to stay”.
Sean Sweetser recently joined the company as Commercial Solar Manager, he is a member of the Clean Energy Council and has PV Solar grid connect design accreditation. Sean has 15+ yrs experience working as a commercial manager and project manager, more recently working with Todae Solar and Solargain and was previously General Manager of Dataworks Australia.
Sean leads NuGreen’s solar division and brings his extensive industry, project and Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) experience to benefit a growing list of blue chip clients interested in saving money through energy demand reduction.
Sean said, “I have a deep passion for tailoring solutions to suit individual client’s wants, needs and goals perfectly. I try to empower clients to invest in green initiatives. I strive to deliver a positive financial business case and ensure positive environmental outcomes. I am really pleased to join the NuGreen team; they are such an exciting company. ”
The company also welcomes Yuri Golod, Technical coordinator. Yuri is a Lighting Designer and Engineer experienced in creating energy efficient commercial lighting design solutions. Recent past major projects included BUPA, Melbourne Tower, Victoria Police HQ, Melbourne Airport, DEPI and COX Architects.
His past experience with Darkon, About Space and Caltex adds significant experience to the technical teams at NuGreen.
“My experience in LED products and knowledge of lighting, controls and automation technologies will greatly benefit our clients. It was NuGreens’ strength and excellent industry reputation which attracted me to the join the company.” Yuri said.
In addition to the recent hires NuGreen has also expanded their capability in New South Wales, South Australia and Tasmania and from 1st November 2014 opening offices in Christchurch and Auckland, New Zealand.
